Monday we finally got our Family Home Evening group! We went to the second counselor in the bishopric Brother J's house. we had dinner and had an activity of paintball. No we didn't all get guns and run around shooting each other just targets he had set up on his fence.The J family is super nice and we instantly felt comfortable in their home. We got to meet and hang out with the kids in our group. We have our six girls, six girls from the apartment two doors down, and six boys from the boys part of La Jolla.
Tuesday we went to devotional. JB asked me to braid her hair. I guess after doing my hair for so long I cant just do a normal braid on anyone's hair anymore...she liked it though.
SNOW!!!
OK not real snow but "sleet" or "baby ice balls" as I call them came this week on Wednesday. We got excited and got to wear our winter coats for the first time!
This week we made lots of yummy food! We made Alfredo noodles and chicken, meatball sandwiches for dinner. For General Conference we made pancakes, and chocolate, caramel, covered pretzels. AHHHHHHH....SO GOOD!!
And what do I do when watching conference? I do my hair in fancy braids like that braidable licorice. 
That food makes me hungry.
